More from David Alger

It wasn’t more than a few days into it when I realized that the Rubik’s Cube unit would become a permanent part of my geometry curriculum. The justification for spending the time is simple – it addresses NCTM standards on so many levels for geometry and measurement, problem solving, reasoning and proof, communication, connections and representation. More importantly it is naturally engaging for kids, promotes deep thinking, and upon completion creates incredible feelings of pride and confidence. It is problem solving and critical thinking in its purest form, and any well-trained teacher will tell you it is exactly what you hope to see in your best of math classes.

I'm an engineer and I love maths, I would like to know about the program of maths with the cube so I can teach my daughter

Is there a way to get the information I need if I'm not a teacher?
