    solution guide tips and tricks

Here you can post the tips and tricks you fin.

Here is what i have found:

#1 When you solve the white corners, if you turn the D face twice, somtimes you wont have to repeat the algorithm (thanks to starscream12, i found this very helpfull.)

#2 If you find it hard to solve the white cross, move the white edges around the yellow center (it doesn't matter what order you put the edges in) then match up the edges with the centers and flip them to the white center.

#3 To use finger tricks better, on the first step of stage two, turn the cube so that the U face is now the B face and do the following

    algorithm: Ri U Ri D D R Ui Ri

    Hope this helps!

Any one know a where I can learn an easy Fridrich method?

Re: solution guide tips and tricks

the 1st one, about the corners, is very good. i used this and it can save u about 10 seconds! i dont understand the 2nd one though.

    explained version of #1-

alright, when u do the corners, try to make the piece u need on the bottom layer (when the white is on the top) like in the solution guide on you can do the cube.

hold the cube so the piece you want is on the right of the front face. if the white is on the front face, do this algorithm:

F D Fi Di ( the Di is not needed)

if the white is on the right face, do this algorithm:

Ri Di R D ( the D is not needed)

if the white is on the bottom, do this algorithm:

    Ri D D R D Ri Di R D (last D not needed)

    hope this helps!

after u memorise these algorithms they will seem obvious

Re: solution guide tips and tricks

    here are some more:

middle layer- when the piece is in the middle layer, in the wrong spot, say red and blue in the green red spot, rotate the cube so that the piece u want to get into the top layer is the right edge of front face and do this:

    R U Ri U Fi Ui F

to switch the edge eg the edge is in the right spot like the red blue piece is in the red blue slot but the blue is on red side and red on blue side. rotate the cube so that the piece u want to slot is on the right edge of the front face and do this:

    R R U U F R R Fi U U Ri U Ri

last layer- last layer corners if 2 corners are right and they are diagnol each other, then rotate the cube so 2 correct ones are at the back right and front left. now do this:

    F R Ui Ri Ui R U Ri Fi R U Ri Ui Ri F R Fi

i know another one for the edges but it is too hard to explain. i will try to get it up later
