the 1st one, about the corners, is very good. i used this and it can save u about 10 seconds! i dont understand the 2nd one though.

alright, when u do the corners, try to make the piece u need on the bottom layer (when the white is on the top) like in the solution guide on you can do the cube.
hold the cube so the piece you want is on the right of the front face. if the white is on the front face, do this algorithm:
F D Fi Di ( the Di is not needed)
if the white is on the right face, do this algorithm:
Ri Di R D ( the D is not needed)
if the white is on the bottom, do this algorithm:
Ri D D R D Ri Di R D (last D not needed)
